I was talking to Jaspreet about battered women shelters, since she wanted to volunteer in one, and as I was looking for local shelters, I came up with the following results on Yahoo! Maps:
1) Battered Women's Alliance
2) Next Door
3) Ho Mei Do Chinese Restaurant

Amy:	i type in battered women to appear on the maps
Amy:	and i get "ho mei do chinese restaurant"???
Jas:	the fuck??
Jas:	hahahahahhahahahahahahaha
Jas:	that's crazy!
Amy:	them chinese know how to multitask, eh
Jas:	hahaha
Jas:	sure do!
Amy:	maybe they make the battered women cook chinese food
Amy:	i know there's gotta be some human rights issue in there somewhere....
Jas:	hahahahaha
Jas:	oh my god
Jas:	that's hilarious
Jas:	hahahahahha
Jas:	oh no
Jas:	you don't think they "serve" the battered women, do you?
Jas:	hahahahhahaha
Jas:	gross
Amy:	hahaha
Amy:	haha
Amy:	i was thinking about that tooo
Amy:	but would the chinese eat women too???
Jas:	you know what they say about chinese people...they'll eat anything and everything...except for salty stuff, of course
Jas:
Amy:	hahahahahahahahahaha
Amy:	so fucking true
Jas:	hahahhahahahahhahaha
Jas:	funny
Amy:	hahaha ah, shit we're going to hell
Amy:	maybe you volunteering will make god happier tho
Amy:	send me a postcard when you're up in heaven and i'm in hell
Amy:	i hope satan doesn't fucking read other people's mail
Amy:	but i think satan would be a prick like that
Jas:	you just said "fucking"
Jas:	hahahahahahaha
Jas:	and i wasn't even provoking you
Jas:	HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Jas:	not so good now, are you?
Amy:	actually i added fucking for comedic effect
Jas:	the point is, you TYPED it
Jas:	doesn't matter what effect you were trying to have
Amy:	haha ok fine
Jas:	THAT'S RIGHT!
Jas:	hahahhhaa
Amy:	i guess you were not meant to be a writer
Jas:	you know you can't change, Amy
Amy:	if you don't care for the effect of words
Jas:	stop trying!
Jas:	whatever
Jas:	i know im' not meant to be a writer
Jas:	my vocabulary is so poor
Jas:	and i lack imagination
Jas:	hahahahahaha
Amy:	it's poor because you don't try for variety
Amy:	you've got to try
Amy:	for instance, make it a point to use "gonorrhea" one day
Amy:	then use another word of the day like rambunctious
Amy:	or supercalifragilisticexpialidocious
Amy:	my bad....."supercalifragilisticexpialidocious"
Jas:	christ!
Jas:	is that even a word??

No wonder Yahoo! Maps is calling it Beta...

By the way, if you would like to volunteer at a battered women shelter, which I highly suggest you do, try the following:

Battered Women's Alliance
(408) 292-0691
1605 Old Almaden Rd
San Jose, CA 95125

Maitri (Primarily helps South Asian Women) [www.maitri.org]
234 East Gish Road
Suite #200
San Jose, CA 95112

This stuffiness nose in my nose just won't go away. It makes me feel like crap. I can't concentrate on my homework this way. There is an irritating THING in my nasal cavity and throat area. I am sleeping the day away, thinking that taking some allery pills, sleeping, and drowning myself in blankets and clothes will make this THING go away. I wear one of my normal t-shirts, not even a baby t-shirt, without a jacket in class just ONCE, and sneeze a few times and I'm fucked for a few days! Goddamnit. I knew that was going to happen. I hate life.

Here is my thing on mango. I was talking to Kimberly L. on AIM.

Chewfung: mmm just ate a mango
Chewfung: you know i had always hated eating mango when i was young
Chewfung: because my mom would cut one half and cut it so it has squares then you pull back on it, and make a flower
Chewfung: i hated eating it directly with my mouth because it was so sticky
Chewfung: only recently did i start eating with a spoon
Chewfung: my mom told my dad to get mangos but then they started going bad and we cut off the bad parts
Chewfung: and then my dad said to eat it with a spoon
Chewfung: and i thought, "Why that's genius!"
Chewfung: why did all of my 20 years of life did i never think of that?
Chewfung: a mango tastes WAY better with a spoon
Chewfung: then i'm left with a sort of husk skin peel
Chewfung: like a mango bowl
Chewfung: and mom said to put jello in it and jello would taste better
Chewfung: that seems pretty cool to me
Kim: hahah
Kim: yea mangos are good
Chewfung: haha
Chewfung: i wonder how durian tastes like
Kim: oh no
Kim: no its gross
Kim: youve smelled it before right ?
Chewfung: i don't think so
Chewfung: i hear my grandmother loves durian
Kim: if you want to try it try not to smell it first, that way you wont be biased against it based on smell
Kim: my parents like it too but i could never try it because of the way i was introduced to it as a child
Chewfung: ooo
Chewfung: wait so it tastes good but smells bad?
Kim: yea , ask uyen she probably knows
Chewfung: ooo so she's a durian lover
Kim: she might be i could see her being one
Chewfung: haha
Chewfung: i kind of see that too
Chewfung: you know it reminds me of drinking bad soups
Chewfung: when i didn't like the taste of it, i would hold my nose so i wouldn't taste it
Chewfung: because a great part of tasting food comes from the smell
Kim: yes exactly
Chewfung: but like if i hold my nose while eating the durian, how am i suppose to taste it
Chewfung: and when it's in my stomach, will i be left with good or bad aftertaste
Chewfung: hmm these are questions to ponder
Kim: haha dont worry, just trust me, you dont want to smell it first
